We are writing to all RC enthusiasts today to announce the final results of the 2025 RLAARLO Speed Race.
First and foremost, we want to extend our sincerest apologies for the confusion and distress caused by our recent communications about disqualifications. We have heard your concerns, and we recognize that our communication and initial review process were seriously flawed.
Acknowledging Our Mistakes
We admit that our initial video review process was not as thorough as it should have been. Due to human error and limited resources, we failed to identify the use of third-party devices in some of the submitted videos during the initial check. This is a clear lapse on our part, and for this, we take full responsibility.
Furthermore, while our principle of using official equipment was mentioned in private correspondence, we acknowledge that this rule was not clearly or explicitly stated in the official competition guidelines for everyone to see. This lack of clarity is our mistake, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration it has caused.
Our Path Forward: A Commitment to Fairness
To address this issue with the transparency and fairness that our participants deserve, we have made the following decisions:
1.Immediate Suspension of All Final Results: We have decided to immediately suspend the official announcement of the final results. We will not proceed with any disqualifications until a thorough re-evaluation is complete.
2.Comprehensive Review: We have formed a dedicated review team to re-examine all submitted entries. This time, we will apply a consistent and strict standard to ensure that every participant is judged fairly.
3.Future Rule Clarification: We are committed to making our competition rules clearer and more robust in the future. We will provide a detailed breakdown of all equipment requirements for next year’s competition to prevent any similar issues.
We understand that this process may be frustrating, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. As a token of our appreciation for your support and to show our sincerest apology, we will be including additional gifts for all affected participants along with their final prizes.
Our goal has always been to create a fair and exciting competition, and we are working hard to rectify our mistakes. We will announce the final, verified results and our plan for future improvements within the next few days.
