This summer, the RLAARLO Speed Race is back! Let's see who will dominate the speed track this time!
Competition Criteria
We will rank participants based on how fast they go to determine the ultimate Speed King.
We are not setting preliminary stages for this competition. We will select the highest speed after the competition ends on July 11. You can try again and again until you achieve the highest speed.
How to Register:

Race Categories:
The Stock Class and The Extreme Class.
● Eligible Models: Only Rlaarlo AK-917 and AK-787
● Stock Class:
1. Use RLAARLO factory original equipment, including batteries,.The relevant RCcar parameters must be announced before participating in the competition.
2. You can also modify it to a dual motor but note that the voltage should not exceed 3S, and the gear ratio can be modified as well.
3. The remote can be changed to allow for a longer range.
4. You can change the tire as you like.
5. No modifications to the chassis size are allowed, including lengthening, shortening, or cutting.
● Extreme Class:
1. Modifications are allowed, but the main body shell and chassis must be the original RLAARLO. The battery must be placed inside the vehicle.The relevant RCcar parameters must be announced before participating in the competition.

Competition Rules:
1. 1.Registration Deadline: Midnight on June 10th, Beijing Time, based on the submission time of the registration form.
2. You must fill out the registration form and receive approval via email （rlaarloofficial@gmail.com） from Rlaarlo to qualify for the challenge.
3. You may modify and upgrade your RLAARLO RC car as needed. For specific modification rules for the Stock Class and the Extreme Class, please refer to the regulations under the race categories.
4. You need to use GPS to test the speed, specifically using Sky RC brand GPS. Recommended model: GSM020.
5. This is an online competition. You still need to submit your video link on the Submit form before the deadline. You can share your speed run video on one of the following Socialmedia: YouTube (@Rlaarlo), TikTok (@rlaarloofficial ), Instagram (@rlaarlo ), or Facebook (@Rlaarlo). Tag the corresponding official RLAARLO account on the Socialmedia and submit your video link through the specific form.
6. RLAARLO expects participants to pay attention to personal and driving safety during the competition. Since the RC car is entirely under the control of the participants, we are not responsible for any accidents.
7. Results Determination: The ranking will be decided based on the race times uploaded to the online spreadsheet. A results display period will be set up, during which the top ten race times in each category will be publicly displayed on the official website for one month. If there are any objections, they can be raised to us through the official social media channels or email of RLAARLO.
8. RLAARLO reserves the right of final interpretation for this competition.
Video Shooting Requirements:
1. The competition video must be the original, unedited footage, with clear visuals that are unobstructed, free of special effects, and not AI-generated.
2. The video needs to include an explanation of the modified electronic system (specified ESC, motor, and battery parameters), GPS installation, equipment testing after GPS installation, and clearing of GPS data.
3. Your GPS must be reset before the start and shown in the video.
4. Before the race begins, the video should display the laser-engraved chassis or the original carbon fiber chassis of the RC car to show that it is the RLAARLO AK917 or AK787 chassis.
5. After the race , the body should be removed from the car to show the number of batteries, balance wires, motor, and ESC, etc. The time used should also be shown.
6. After the race, the RC cars must come to a full stop and remain functional. It must be powered solely by its tires and stay on the race track surface at all times. The RC cars cannot collide, become airborne, or leave the designated race track. If any of these occur, the GPS data will be deemed invalid.
7.Throughout the race, the RC cars must stay on the race track. Only after the display of time and speed can the vehicle be picked up by hand. Avoid touching the RC car during the race. If traffic necessitates a pause during the race, stop the RC Car in a safe spot, explain the situation to the camera. The vehicle still should not leave the roadway. If a race has been completed and the car stops safely on the road but need to retrieve it for safety reasons the RC car must show in camera it is operational before contact and reading of the gps data and time.
8.Before the competition deadline, you have a total of three opportunities to upload videos and submit your results. As long as it is within the deadline, you can submit new videos to us at any time. We will take your fastest result as your official score.
9.The video must clearly display the time before and after the race to ensure it is within the competition period. Videos recorded outside the competition period are invalid.
