2024 Rlaarlo Speed Race — Speed and Glory, Onward Once More

This summer, the Rlaarlo Second Annual Speed Race is kicking off! Can you win the $1200 USD grand prize?

Competition Criteria

We will rank participants based on how fast they go to determine the ultimate Speed King.

We are not setting preliminary stages for this competition. We will select the highest speed after the competition ends on July 31st. You can try again and again until you achieve the highest speed.

Event Schedule:

• Registration: June 15 - June 30 (15 days)
• Competition: July 01 - July 31 (31 days)

Event Class: 

The event will be divided into Stock and Unlimited classes:

• Eligible Models: Only Rlaarlo  AK-917 and  AK-787
• Stock Class: Use Rlaarlo factory original equipment, but you can use other brand batteries.
  You can also modify it to a dual motor, but note that the voltage should not exceed 3S, and the gear ratio can be modified as well.
  The remote can be changed to allow for a longer range.
  You can change the tire as you like.
• Unlimited Class:We are not setting preliminary stages for this competition. We will select the highest speed after the competition ends on July 31st. You can try again and again until you achieve the highest speed.

Competition Rules:

1. You must fill out the registration form and receive approval via email from Rlaarlo to qualify for the challenge.
2. You may upgrade and modify your Rlaarlo car as many times as you like. However, the body shell and chassis must be original Rlaarlo. Additionally, the battery must be placed inside the car.
3. You need to use GPS to test the speed, specifically using Sky RC brand GPS. Recommended model: GSM020.
4. Share your speed run video on one of the following platforms before the deadline: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, tagging @Rlaarlo.
5. This is an online competition. You need to submit the link to your video on social media in the specified form before the deadline.

Video Shooting Requirements:

1. The competition video must be a single, unedited video.
2. The video needs to include an explanation of the modified electronic system (specified ESC, motor, battery parameters), GPS installation, equipment testing after GPS installation, and clearing of GPS data.
3. Your GPS must be reset and shown in the video before the run.
4. After passing, the body should be removed from the car to show the number of batteries, balance wires, motor, and ESC, etc. The time used should also be shown.
5. At the end of the run, the vehicle must be brought to a complete stop and be functional. The vehicle must be powered only by the tires and remain on the ground at all times.
6. You can attempt the race 3 times per round, meaning you can upload new speed run videos and submit them to our form before the deadline.
7. The video must show the recording date. Videos recorded outside the competition period will be invalid.  

How to Submit Results:

1. Share your speed run video on one of the following platforms before the deadline: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and tag @Rlaarlo.
2. Submit the link to your video on social media in the specific form before the deadline: Submission Form

The final interpretation rights of the competition belong to Rlaarlo.
