I was told the aluminum chassis could be upgraded to dual motor so i purchased two of these motors along with fans and motor mount. As i was working on this project I realized it was not. The motor dual mount does not line up so I purchased the single motor mount and installed one motor. I’ll change out the spur gear to a 52 T later on. This is it for now.
I have two OTs I put 4s XC esc . I love the oem but no programming 4S is wheelies all day
I put this motor in a XTS-F10 and wow does this thing rip. Plenty of torque and top end. Only down side are the wires out of the motor are short making the placement of ESC a little tricky. But still possible and worth it
Great motor, seems it has a little more torque in it. Great replacement for my OEM 3660 3900kv motor that came in my AK-917 (orange can) when i purchased it 2 years ago.

Bought this to do the 2 motor conversion. Prior to complete installation I hooked up the motor along with the 2nd esc, thats needed to do the 2 motor conversion, for a test run and everything works like a champ!
Have not had a chance to test the second motor yet but it installed perfectly will be ordering another electronic speed control soon then I will be able to give a full review and comment on the functionality of the car with the dual motors
