- The Rlaarlo 1/7 Scale Mercedes-Benz Unimog U4000 is an officially licensed RC rock crawler featuring a highly detailed Unimog body, equipped with portal axles, a three-mode drive system (front-wheel drive/four-wheel drive/rear-wheel drive), a two-speed transmission, front and rear differential locks, a 10-channel remote controller with voice control, and a full LED lighting system. Ready to drive right out of the box.
- Featuring a highly detailed 1/7 scale design and a 1:1 replica, this model faithfully recreates the vehicle’s authentic details. Both the interior and exterior feature an abundance of intricate molded details that will impress even the most discerning enthusiasts. The fully synchronized simulated lighting system adds an extra touch of realism as night falls.
- Equipped with a fully functional cargo bed measuring 510 × 364 × 90 mm. The tailgate is stamped from 0.8 mm textured stainless steel, combining durability with a realistic look. The side rails can be removed or folded down in seconds, transforming the truck into a flatbed. Perfect for transporting scale model cargo, a second RC car, or setting up off-road adventure scenes. It comes factory-equipped with mounting points for a hydraulic lift kit upgrade. This cargo bed is just as versatile as the real Mercedes-Benz Unimog U4000.
- True to the engineering design of the original Unimog, Rlaarlo has faithfully recreated the authentic “main beam + sub-beam” design, CNC-machined from 5mm-thick 6061 aluminum alloy. With a 43° approach angle and a 45° departure angle, you’ll be able to easily climb over boulders and logs that would deter other vehicles. The independent suspension system and all-terrain rubber tires help maintain traction and stability on rough terrain.
- Ready-to-Run (RTR), available in brushed or brushless versions. Choose the brushed version (5280 brushed motor, 2-3S) or the brushless version (4282-2600KV brushless motor, 2-6S). Both versions include a 10-channel transmitter, 10-channel receiver, and a full set of electronics—all you need to do is add a LiPo battery. The chassis features mounting holes for dual winch servos, a front bumper winch mount, and a tailgate hydraulic jack. The spacious battery tray accommodates 184×51 mm battery packs, and the M1.0 pinion gear can be swapped from 12T to 17T. Customize to your heart’s content.

The rlarrlo unimog is one of the best large scale trucks on the market. Its powerful, easy enough to control and has some of the greatest attention to detail ive seen on an rc, it looks like a unimog model kit , but performs like a high end crawler. Its really the best of all worlds. The only reason someone might not get it is because of just how big it is, but for me thats something i love about it.

This is definitely a feature packed, premium RC. From the highly detailed cab and bed, to the electronics and full scale chassis, this was done quite well! Right out of the box, it's amazing but it's also perfect for customizing and adding personal touches and the sheer size makes it all the better! This Unimog is not for the novice or beginner as setup, mode adjustments, and multiple functions can be pretty involved and takes time and patience navigating and getting used to. Being big and heavy also means making sure to have enough battery life/batteries, tools, etc. when taking it out because the last thing you want is to have to lug this beast back from any kind of distance. Overall, it gets a good thumbs up and five star rating!

Extremely disappointed with my UM07. After waiting over two months and spending around $1,000, mine had cosmetic/paint issues right out of the box, and basically from the first throttle pull I was already hearing clanking from the drivetrain. After hours of troubleshooting, the rear drivetrain is clearly grinding and skipping gears. A brand-new Ready-to-Run RC should not require hours of diagnosing immediately after unboxing it. Based on my experience and the number of issues I’ve seen other owners/reviewers report, I would stay clear of the UM07 right now. There are simply way too many quality-control issues for a vehicle at this price. I’m giving it 1 star based on what I received, but I will absolutely come back and change this review if Rlaarlo makes this right. I really wanted to love this truck. Right now, I’m just extremely disappointed.

Out the box the trick had a few issues. 1. The drag brake was too aggressive and caused the truck to flip. Adjusting the drag brake required the vircas App which is not made easily available on Android. 2. The gear mesh between pinion and spur was too tight. It takes a lot of unscrewing to get to the motor and loosen the mesh. Once all was resolved, the truck runs great and its such a beautiful truck.
