FOSHAN, China, June 28 — From June 27 to 28, the first stop of the RLAARLO DSK Global Series officially commenced at Foshan Hongyu GDC, China's most prestigious RC track. The inaugural event attracted 20 top-tier and amateur drivers, marking the official track debut and high-intensity validation of the DSK, RLAARLO's first 1:8 scale competition-grade buggy.
Premier Venue and High-Caliber Competition
As the world's largest and most well-equipped international-standard comprehensive RC racing center, Hongyu GDC features a venue exceeding 10,000 square meters. The facility includes a 3,300-square-meter asphalt main racing area, a 1,300-square-meter sunken clay off-road track, and a 1,000-square-meter multifunctional arena. These premium hardware facilities provided an optimal stage for this high-specification competition.
The technical regulations strictly mandated the use of original DSK chassis components, while permitting third-party electronic systems, batteries, and tires. Following a controlled practice session on the first day, drivers engaged in fierce competition across three qualifying rounds on the second day. The eight fastest drivers advanced to the Professional Group (Group A), while the remaining competitors entered the Sportsman Group (Group B).

Intense Final and Championship Results
Group A brought together multiple brand ambassador drivers and the National Champion. Driven by a substantial total prize pool of 32,000 RMB (16,000 RMB for the champion, 10,000 RMB for the runner-up, and 6,000 RMB for third place), the final race was exceptionally intense. Right up to the conclusion of the final round, the time gap among the eight Group A finalists remained tightly compressed within a one-to-two-second margin. In post-race interviews, several professional drivers noted that they had rarely experienced such a close and extreme competitive duel.
Ultimately, Liang Hongbin from Xiamen claimed the championship, Shanghai driver Pangpang secured the runner-up position, and Sun Ran took third place. The Group B races were equally thrilling, with amateur drivers utilizing the DSK RTR version to achieve highly competitive lap times on the track.

Product Validation on the Track
On the track, the DSK's extreme competitive performance thoroughly dismantled initial preconceptions among some drivers that it was merely a recreational model. As a pure Racing Kit, despite its slightly higher curb weight, the DSK's chassis proved exceptionally agile, demonstrating outstanding steering response in hairpins and U-turns.

Complemented by a comprehensive range of optional upgrade parts, the chassis delivered precise positive feedback to all parameter adjustments, and the overall structure proved robust and durable. The continuous on-site tuning conducted over several days was highly praised by participating drivers, who remarked that they had "rediscovered the pure joy of playing with RC cars for the first time in a long while."

Commenting on the event, Gavin Guo, Principal of Hongyu GDC, stated: "We are very grateful to RLAARLO for providing this opportunity. We hope everyone had a great time in a fair, just, and open environment, showcasing their skills and style with this new RLAARLO vehicle."
Future Roadmap and Global Expansion
Following the conclusion of the first stop, RLAARLO will officially open-source the championship-winning chassis setup sheet in the near future. Additionally, the brand will collaborate with professional drivers to release a standardized parameter baseline specifically tailored for novice players, further lowering the barrier to entry for competitive racing.

The RLAARLO DSK Global Series is slated for a total of 12 stops, ultimately returning to China for the global final. Preparations for hosting the overseas legs of the series are currently undergoing intensive coordination, and further global event updates will be progressively released.
